Susan Noble has been named executive director of the Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park, also called the Technology Farm.
Noble succeeds Steven Isaacs, who has taken a job at Coach & Equipment Manufacturing Corp. in Penn Yan, Yates County.
Noble has worked at the park as administrative assistant and chief financial officer since shortly after it opened in November 2005. She had previously worked for entrepreneur and philanthropist Pleasant Rowland at the Aurora Foundation in a variety of capacities, including the management of one of her many enterprises.
“Susan Noble has been involved in all aspects of the park’s growth and development and is well prepared to move the park forward,” Robert Seem, president of the park’s board of directors, said in a statement.
He also praised Isaacs’ contributions during his two years as executive director.
Noble is the third executive director of the park, which began under the leadership of Daniel Fessenden, who remains on the board of directors.
Noble said the park has 10 businesses and is near capacity. She said a goal is to add more space for new agriculture and food technology businesses to get their start.
