Production for the movie “After” was in Rochester Wednesday to film a wedding scene at Burgundy Basin Inn.

The move is written and produced by Sabrina Gennarino, a Penfield High School graduate and Mendon resident. Gennarino has appeared on television shows such as “The Sopranos” and “Criminal Minds.” The movie is a drama about “secrets and how far we will go to protect the ones we love,” according to the production company, Girl’s Gotta Eat Entertainment.

It stars Oscar-nominated actress Kathleen Quinlan, “Law & Order SVU” star Diane Neal and Darrin Dewitt Henson, who portrayed Syracuse University football star Jim Brown in “The Express.”

Greater Rochester Enterprise worked with the production company to bring the film and 70 jobs to the area.
