AT&T Inc. has enhanced cell sites to extend its third generation network in Genesee County, the wireless company said Monday.
Improvements to cell towers in Alexander, Batavia, Bethany, Brick House Corners, Corfu, Darien, Elba, LeRoy, Oakfield, Pavilion and Pembroke would let its cell phone customers tap into broadband service in those areas, the company said.
The Genesee County improvements dovetail with other area network expansions, including new 3G cell sites in the nearby communities of Alden in Erie County and regions south of Caledonia in Livingston County.
