Three Rochester-based firms have been ranked on The Zweig Letter 2011 Hot Firm List.

Erdman Anthony ranked No. 104 on the list, while M/E Engineering P.C. and Passero Associates ranked 139 and 140, respectively out of the 175 firms. The list recognized the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting firms in North America.

Also listed were two firms headquartered in other cities, but with offices in Rochester. Edmonton-based firm Stantec Inc. ranked No. 12, while Pasadena-based Tetra Tech Inc. ranked No. 29.

The rankings were based on a survey of industry firms by ZweigWhite, a firm that provides research and training for architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms. The rankings took into account percentage growth and dollar growth for the firms over a three year period from 2007 to 2010.
