Zaretsky and Associates Inc. has received two awards as part of the Professional Landcare Network’s Environmental Improvement Awards program.

The Penfield-based landscape design and installation firm received the Distinction Award for a residential lawn-free landscape in Fairport. It also received the Merit Award for the Woodward Healing Garden at Rochester General Hospital.

“Receiving this type of national recognition is a wonderful validation of all that we strive to do: create top-notch gardens that improve the environment and the lives of the people who use them,” said Sharon Coates, vice president of Zaretsky and Associates.

Formed in 1989, Zaretsky and Associates is a national award winning landscape design firm. The company focuses on residential landscape projects and is a leader in health care garden design.
