SWBR Architects & Engineers P.C. has announced a new senior associate responsible for growing and expanding the firm’s health care architecture practice.

Thomas Covell of Brighton, has more than 30 years of experience in health are design, including renovation projects for programs such as radiology, surgery and mental health services. He holds a master’s degree in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor of science degree in art and design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

“The development of a health care practice is a direct result of our recent strategic plan,” said David Beinetti, president of SWBR, in a statement. “Ours and Tom’s shared experience in this vertical industry will naturally drive business for the firm and allow us to offer specialized, expanded services to current and future clients.”
