Lakeview Mental Health Inc. in Geneva has named Harry Merryman as the agency’s new CEO, its board of directors said Monday.
Merryman has been Lakeview’s interim CEO since November. He takes the place of Mark Wickham, who in November was named president and CEO of Catholic Family Center of the Diocese of Rochester.
Merryman has served as Lakeview’s chief program officer in charge of all direct care services provided by the agency. Merryman also served on the board for two years, becoming president shortly before stepping down to join the senior management team.
A licensed psychologist, Merryman has held administrative positions in higher education and founded his own management consulting business prior to joining Lakeview.
“We look forward to continuing to carry out our mission of providing recovery services to our communities under Dr. Merryman’s leadership and through the excellence of our dedicated staff,” Chairman Jules Ravo said.
With annual revenues in excess of $9 million, Lakeview Mental Health Services is a non-profit agency employing 130 in a six-county area in the central Finger Lakes region.
