A Canadian-Chinese tour company is sending 10 buses with 500 visitors to Rochester on Saturday, officials from the Greater Rochester Visitors Association Inc. announced Friday.

Tai Pan Tours, which has its headquarters in Toronto, plans to stop at the George Eastman House, the National Museum of Play, Wegmans Family Markets Inc., High Falls, Waterloo Premium Outlets and Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park, officials said.

“The economic impact bus tours bring to Monroe County is significant,” GRVA president and CEO Edward Hall said in a statement. “We are happy to have Tai Pan offer Rochester as a destination on their tours.”

Established in 1989, Tai Pan Tours is a member of the Travel Industry Council of Toronto and is an accredited operator of the Peoples Republic of China, its website states.
