Mayor Thomas Richards plans to introduce his proposed 2012-213 budget for the city of Rochester on Friday.
The presentation begins at 11 a.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall.
Prior to a series of discussions with city residents in March, projections showed expenses exceeding revenues by $40.2 million. A $15.4 million spin-up in state funding reduced the shortfall to $24.8 million.
Richards’ budget proposal subsequently will be voted on by City Council.
