Rochester Business Journal
May 31, 2012

Seneca Foods Corp. has named a new chief financial officer and treasurer, effective June 11.

Timothy Benjamin, 53, has more than 30 years’ experience in the finance, treasury, tax and risk management areas. He also will serve as senior vice president at Seneca Foods.

Benjamin most recently served as corporate treasurer at North American Breweries Inc. in Rochester, and before that worked at IEC Electronics Corp. and Birds Eye Foods Inc.

Kraig Kayser, Seneca Foods president and CEO, is serving as interim chief financial officer until Benjamin joins the Marion, Wayne County-based food processor.

Benjamin succeeds Roland Breunig, who retired April 13.
