Harris Corp.’s RF Communications division in Rochester has received a $26.7 million order to provide the U.S. Army with upgraded tactical radios and accessories.
The equipment will boost the military’s capabilities on the battlefield, the Henrietta firm said.
“We are committed to delivering wideband capability with the highest standards of portability and interoperability,” said George Helm, president of RF Communications’ Department of Defense business, in a statement.
RF Communications has some 2,300 workers.
