Rochester Equity Partners Inc. has merged with Customized Lender’s Services Inc. as of Monday, with at least 10 jobs to be created, the companies announced.
Rochester Equity Partners is a partnership between operating subsidiaries WebTitle Agency and Cascade Settlement Agency, each specializing in a select area of business for the holding company, officials said.
“This merger brings together two great organizations and is creating a strong platform for future growth,” said Kevin Whiting, WebTitle’s chief operating officer, in a statement Friday.
WebTitle, formed in 2004, employs 131. Cascade Settlement, formed in 2008, employs eight. CLS, incorporated in October 2004, employs 12.
CLS will retain its name for now, representatives said.
Cascade and CLS temporarily are on Jefferson Road in Henrietta, with plans to move to WebTitle offices on Cascade Drive in Rochester.
WebTitle, which employs four attorneys, describes itself as the largest locally owned title agency in Western New York.
