Verizon Wireless Inc. has named a new president of its Upstate New York Region.
The company announced Wednesday that Chris Felix will replace Russ Preite, who has been named president of Verizon’s Northern California/Nevada/Hawaii region.
In his new role, Felix will head up the company’s strategic direction in sales, operations, financial performance and customer service for the region.
Prior to his new post, Felix served as vice president of federal government sales for Verizon Wireless.
The company has its Upstate New York headquarters in Henrietta, where it maintains a call center and engineering center.
