Navy Point Marine adds staff, inventory

Rochester Business Journal
June 21, 2012

Navy Point Marine, a brokerage that maintains an office in Rochester, is adding a second certified yacht broker and expanding its inventory, officials said. The firm also plans improvements to its office and grounds.

Certified yacht broker Patrick Lane, with more than 23 years’ experience, joins the Rochester office. He recently relocated from Cape Cod.

Navy Point now will be staffed seven days a week. Lane joins certified professional yacht broker Gene Angelides, who has been with Navy Point for more than 10 years.

This expansion is the result of recent increased sales activity throughout the region, said Steve McPherson, Navy Point president.

“The motivation to expand our operations in the Rochester market has never been better,” McPherson said.

Navy Point, founded more than 30 years ago, is based in Sackets Harbor in the Thousand Islands region. It also has an office in Toronto.
