Pre-sale registration for tickets to the 95th PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club began Monday and will continue through July 22, tournament officials announced.
The tournament is slated for Aug. 5 to 11, 2013.
Following preregistration, registrants will receive exclusive access to tickets on July 23, officials said. Ticket sales open to the public Aug. 6.
Registrants will be granted first notice of details involving ticket sales and exclusive information on tickets, officials said.
“With a limited amount of only 27,000 tickets available for each day of the championship, we anticipate demand will be high,” PGA Championship Director Ryan Cannon said in a statement. “That is why the PGA of America organizes a pre-sale registration process to give fans ample time to secure their attendance.”
Also, 3,500 volunteer positions are available, with assignments to be made on a first-come, first-served basis, officials said. Applications are available at www.pgachampionship.com.
