Paetec Holding Corp. co-founder Jack Baron has joined OneStream Networks LLC as chairman.
Baron serves as president and chief operating officer of Sweetwater Energy Inc.
Baron will offer insight and direction as interest in OneStream from global companies grows, OneStream said.
“OneStream Networks is uniquely positioned in terms of network, technology and services at an extraordinarily opportune time,” Baron said in a statement. “I see opportunity for continued rapid expansion. I look forward to contributing to OneStream’s expansion efforts in any way I can by sharing my experiences as a founding president of Paetec Communications.”
With its headquarters on Lee Road in Rochester, OneStream is a global provider of enterprise-grade hosted and managed IP communications to business customers in more than 50 countries. It ranked No. 8 on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of telecommunications providers, with 88 local employees.
OneStream this month also added former Frontier Corp. executive Debra Tellstone as its chief operating officer.
