City property tax bills go out

Rochester Business Journal
July 10, 2012

Property tax bills have been sent to city of Rochester landowners who do not have escrow arrangements with their mortgagees, with initial payments due July 31, city officials announced Tuesday.

Residential property owners who have not received their tax bill should contact the city’s tax information office during business hours. Property owners are responsible for paying their taxes by the deadline whether or not they received their bill, officials said.

Interest penalties will accrue if installments are not paid by the end of the month, officials said.
