Harris Corp.’s RF Communications division in Henrietta has received an $8 million order from an undisclosed country in the Middle East for high-frequency manpack radios as part of its tactical radio modernization program.
The radios will provide that nation's armed forces with beyond line-of-sight terrestrial voice and data communications.
“The (radio) delivers highly reliable and secure communications even in the most challenging mission environments, such as mountains and urban areas,’’ said Brendan O’Connell, president of RF Communications’ International Business, in a statement.
