Tickets for the U.S. Women’s National Team’s Sept. 1 match against Costa Rica at Sahlen’s Stadium go on sale next week, U.S. Soccer officials announced Friday.

The match in Rochester will be the first for the national team, which includes Pittsford native Abby Wambach, since its 2-1 Olympic gold medal win over Japan on Thursday. A second match on the Victory Tour scheduled is scheduled for Sept. 16 against Australia in Carson, Calif.

Tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. next Friday at the stadium, at Ticketmaster locations in the Rochester area, at www.ussoccer.com, or by calling (800) 745-3000. Purchases are limited to eight tickets.

A package that includes premium tickets, an official U.S. National Team jersey with name and number, and access to the field before and after the match, is available exclusively through the U.S. Soccer website, officials said.

Ticket prices were not disclosed.

Both matches are slated to be televised live by NBC.
