Building begins on Webster apartment complex

Taylor, the Builders has been awarded a contract to construct the Legends at North Ponds in Webster, a 114-unit senior apartment complex. 

The Penfield company is working with local developer Peter Landers, 822HR LLC, and Lauer-Manguso & Associates Architects on the project.

Construction is under way; occupancy is projected for next June. 

“This development provides Webster and the Rochester community with quality lifestyle apartments in a prime location,” said Taylor president Karl Schuler. 

The complex will consist of a 67,000-square-foot, three-story building targeting independent seniors who are 70 and older. Construction of two 27,000-square-foot, three-story buildings will focus on adults ages 50 to 70.
