Westchester mortgage firm closes Rochester office

A downstate-based residential mortgage investment and banking firm has closed its local branch.

Guaranteed Home Mortgage Co. Inc. has shut down its Cascade Drive office, company spokesman Kelley Berkheiser confirmed. No additional details were provided. 

The White Plains, Westchester County-based business was founded in 1992 and has more than 300 mortgage professionals lending in 28 states. 

The company, named in the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing companies in the United States, provides residential mortgage financing to consumers and real estate professionals.
