Transcat Inc. has promoted Lee Rudow to president. Rudow retains his post as chief operating officer of the Ogden-based service provider and distributor of calibration and measurement instruments.

“Since Lee joined Transcat last November as chief operating officer, it was clear that we shared a common vision of Transcat’s future and our ability to execute against that vision,” CEO Charles Hadeed said in a statement. “Lee brought a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership experience to our company that is relevant for both our product and service segment, and he has a proven track record of fostering dynamic growth and sustained profitability.”

Prior to joining Transcat, Rudow, served as executive vice president for Simco Electronics Inc., an independent provider of global calibration, repair and software solutions. Prior to that Rudow served as CEO and president of Davis Calibration Inc.
