Harris Corp.’s RF Communications division in Rochester has received a $10 million order to supply the Polish Ministry of National Defense with its multiband manpack radios and high-frequency manpack radios.
The Ministry of National Defense is acquiring the radio systems to provide communications interoperability with the United States, North Atlantic Treaty Organization and coalition forces, the company said.
The order comes a day after RF Communications landed a $25 million order from a government in the Middle East for its tactical radios as part of a military communications modernization program.
RF Communications employs 2,200 local workers.
