Rochester Business Journal
September 28, 2012

The Genesee Gateway Local Development Corp. has received final approval for $1 million in federal funds to complete infrastructure improvements at the Genesee Valley Agri-Business Park in Batavia.

The money will go toward a new road and water system, Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., announced Thursday.

The park is the site of businesses such as Alpina Foods LLC and another yogurt manufacturing facility being constructed there through a joint venture between PepsiCo Inc. and Theo Muller Group called Muller Quaker Dairy.

The award was granted through the Economic Development Administration.
