Sutherland Global Services Inc. has launched a new suite of offerings for the retail banking industry, coinciding with the first in a series of interactive seminars sponsored by the company.
The new suite, called B@ANkers, will serve as a virtual app store for banks and financial institutions, the company said. The services include password-free voice recognition and authentication features for balance inquiries, transfers and transactions, a mobile transaction assistant similar to the iPhone’s Siri, and new analytics.
“These offerings represent a quantum leap forward in personalizing retail banking,” said Sankar Krishnan, global head of client engagement for banking and financial services at Sutherland Global, in a statement. “Our solutions are a combination of breakthrough technology, real-time analytics, domain expertise and service excellence.
“While transactions are rapidly moving towards online and mobile devices, the most significant innovation comes from optimizing the customer experience based on past history and ongoing expected needs.”
The first seminar sponsored by Sutherland Global, “The Brewing Storm in Consumer Banking,” was held Thursday at the Grand Hyatt New York in Manhattan. Brett King, the founder of Movenbank Inc., a branch-free provider of banking services, served as guest speaker.
Sutherland Global officials said the company will sponsor similar seminars in January in Mexico City, Dubai and Djakarta, Indonesia.
