Bank of America Corp. representatives will be in Rochester Wednesday and Thursday to meet with customers facing financial difficulties with their home loans.
Bank of America customers seeking information or assistance with applying for a mortgage modification program can schedule appointments to meet with bank representatives at the Hyatt Regency Rochester until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
“Providing an outreach event such as this is a great tool for homeowners who might be facing challenges with paying their mortgage,” said Mayor Thomas Richards, in a statement. “I hope that these homeowners are able to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about options and find solutions to avoiding foreclosure.”
Bank of America mortgage customers interested in scheduling appointments should register in advance and may do so by calling 1-855-201-7426 or visiting www.bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent. A checklist of the necessary documents, along with more information about this event is posted on the city’s website, www.cityofrochester.gov/BoAforum.
Representatives from the Housing Council also will be at the event.
