Bonadio, Freed Maxick among largest U.S. accounting firms

Two accounting firms with a significant presence in Rochester are among the 100 largest nationally on the annual list released this week by Accounting Today.

Bonadio & Co. LLP in Perinton ranked 54th with projected revenues of $54.9 million for its fiscal year ending April 30, the list released Monday shows. Bonadio ranked 59th on the revised 2012 list. Its revenues are slated to increase by 15.5 percent for fiscal year 2013.

Freed Maxick CPAs P.C. ranked 72nd with projected earnings of $40.5 million as of the end of April, up 7 percent from a year ago.

Freed Maxick was 72nd last year, as well.

Bonadio is the leader on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of CPA firms in the local market with 81 local CPAs. Buffalo-based Freed Maxick ranks 11th with 12 local CPAs.
