Cabot Group to represent Farash Foundation in sale

The Cabot Group has been selected to represent the real estate subsidiary of the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation in the sale of seven Rochester-area apartment communities, the Pittsford firm said Tuesday.

The apartment communities, totaling 333 units, are throughout Greece, Hilton Irondequoit and Rochester. They are being offered separately or as a portfolio.

“This is an exciting opportunity for potential buyers looking to invest in the Rochester community,” said Michael Smith, Cabot Group chairman and CEO, in a statement.

The sale of these Rochester-area properties is part of an overall strategy by the Farash Foundation to diversify its investments.
