England’s Melissa Reid will be added to the Wegmans LPGA Championship after accepting an invitation as the sponsor’s exemption, tournament officials announced Friday.

Reid, 25, plays on the Ladies European Tour. She has played three events, her best finish an eighth place at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.

Reid was 10th or better 10 times in 2010, best on the LET. She won the Deloitte Dutch Ladies Open and the Open de Espana Femenino in 2011, and was in the top 10 in six other tournaments.

She played in 10 LET events last year, winning the Raiffeisenbank Prague Golf Masters in June.
