Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo has been elected president of the New York State Association of County Clerks and will be sworn in in January.

Dinolfo, elected third vice president of the state association in 2011, was elected president last Tuesday during the group’s fall conference.

“As county clerks throughout New York State, we consistently strive to provide quality customer service at the lowest cost to taxpayers,” Dinolfo said in a statement.

“I am very proud of initiatives we have championed over the years and I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and working with my colleagues as we continue our efforts into next year.”
