News10NBC names news director

News10NBC has selected Christopher Ford as its news director.

Ford brings over two decades of experience in television news to his new role. Prior to WHEC, Ford served as assistant news director to the CBS affiliate WTSP in Tampa.

“I am very excited to have Chris join our team,” said Derek Dalton, WHEC-TV vice president and general manager.  “His investigative background and passion to serve will be a real asset to our newsroom and our Rochester community.”

Hubbard Broadcasting Inc. is a broadcasting company with 12 television stations, including WHEC-TV.
