Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s 2014 State of the State Address is Jan. 8 in Albany, officials announced Monday.

The speech is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the Empire State Plaza Convention Center, officials said.

The address will again be open to New Yorkers, who can register at www.governor.ny.us until Dec. 30 at 5 p.m. Seating is limited. Guests will be notified of their selection via email by Jan. 6, officials said.

“I look forward to joining members of the Legislature and the public on Nov. 8 as we build on the progress from the last three years to make New York the Empire State once again,” Cuomo said in a statement.
