Vuzix Corp. plans to showcase its M100 smart glasses at the AT&T Developer Summit Hackathon on Jan. 6 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The eyewear and smart glasses company’s M100 product is a wearable computer that contains a virtual display with an integrated camera and processing engine. It allows users to wirelessly connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to a smartphone or other compatible device.

"As one of the first commercially available smart glasses on the market, we are pleased that AT&T has invited us to participate as a sponsor for this year's developer summit," CEO Paul Travers said. "We are thrilled to be working with AT&T Summit to bring visibility to this award-winning product.”

The focus of the summit is on wearable technologies.
