Wells Fargo office to stay open, cut 25 jobs

Rochester Business Journal
January 29, 2014

Wells Fargo & Co.’s home mortgage office in Perinton will remain open despite the loss of 25 jobs there, an amended state filing says.

The job cuts on April 22 will leave 43 workers remaining at the 179 Sully’s Trail location, a filing Tuesday with the state Department of Labor states.

A Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed last week classified the job cuts as a plant closing, citing 25 total employees at the location.
