January 31, 2014

Rhythm Connect LLC is holding its grand reopening on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The company has moved to 75 N. Main St. in Fairport, which allows the music studio to offer new amenities such as larger private lessons rooms, a “Jungle Room” for interactive group music classes and a waiting area with free Wi-Fi for parents to use while their children take lessons.

The company offers music lessons and classes for drums, guitar, piano, bass, and vocals, sales and rentals of instruments, birthday parties, group drumming, arts-in-education programs, camps, and community events.

“Music is all about community and experiencing the joy of making music together--this move and expansion is possible because of the incredible support from family, friends and our wonderful customers,” owner Ed Keegan said in a statement.

Activities at the grand opening include a free family rhythm event from 10 to 11 a.m.; free demo music lessons from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on drums, guitar, piano and for vocalists; and an acoustic session from 2 to 4 p.m.

Participants can register online to reserve a spot at http://rhythmconnect.com/classes.
