HCR Home Care establishes new leadership team

Rochester Business Journal
February 7, 2014

HCR Home Care on Friday announced a new leadership team.

Founder Louise Woerner remains as chairman and CEO. She is joined by Elizabeth Zicari, the company’s new president; Richard Glickman, chief financial officer; and Laura Habza, chief operating officer. Former CEO Mark Maxim recently retired.

“(Zicari, Glickman and Habza) will work with me to lead HCR at an exciting time for our company, as we implement our expansion across New York State and continually improve patient care and care coordination,” Woerner said in a statement.

Zicari joined HCR in 2000 and previously served as vice president of clinical services. Glickman joined HCR last year after serving as controller/senior manager-corporate special projects at Time Warner Cable in Rochester. Habza also joined HCR in 2013 as practice manager, overseeing business growth initiatives, market analysis and financial performance.

In December, Maxim outlined plans for the employee-owned HCR to expand into 10 North Country and Central New York regions. The expansion continues growth into other upstate regions the Brighton-based HCR started making in 2006.

HCR ranks first on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of the area's largest woman-owned businesses, to be published in the Jan. 10 issue. The firm has 455 local full-time employees and employs 600 statewide.
