Dunkin' Donuts restaurants open in Henrietta, Palmyra

Rochester Business Journal
February 18, 2014

Dunkin' Donuts franchisee Luis Ribeiro discusses development plans at the newest Rochester-area Dunkin' Donuts at 1300 Jefferson Road in Henrietta.

Dunkin’ Brand Group Inc. has opened two restaurants in the region, on Main Street in Palmyra, Wayne County, and on Jefferson Road in Henrietta.

The restaurants are the first pair of eight scheduled to open in the area under franchisee Luis Ribeiro. Out of the 64 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the Greater Rochester area, Ribeiro owns 28 of them. Over the next few years as many as 20 locations are slated to open, including one in downtown Rochester this summer.

“I am excited to open these restaurants as Dunkin’ Donuts continues to expand its presence in the Greater Rochester area,” Ribeiro said in a statement. “We look forward to further expanding the brand in the region and serving our loyal guests who live, work and visit here.”

The franchises will have a new product: Coffee Squares, in each location. Coffee Squares are treats that are similar to chocolate but made with Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.

The Palmyra and Henrietta restaurants both have the “Fresh Brew Cappuccino Blend" design to the restaurant, which features a contemporary layout, color scheme, lighting and seating. The stores also have hardwood flooring, soft couches, digital menu boards and additional USB and electrical outlets.

Each location has free Wi-Fi and a drive-thru. The Palmyra restaurant is 1,700 square feet. It accommodates 15 guests and employs 20 staffers.

The Henrietta restaurant also is 1,700 square feet. It has seating for 28 guests. The restaurant employs 20.
