Westminster Consulting named a top retirement plan adviser

Rochester-based Westminster Consulting LLC was named to Planadviser’s annual listing of the top 100 retirement plan advisers.

Westminster Consulting was one of New York-based firms to make trade group’s list, and the only firm from Upstate New York, firm officials said.

“We are very grateful to have received this important recognition. Our team works very hard and they are certainly well-deserving,” said Sean Patton, partner.

To qualify for consideration, firms had to have 65 or more plans or at least $500 million in assets under advisement; teams needed to advise at least $1.5 billion in assets or a minimum of 125 plans; and multi-office teams needed to oversee $2.5 billion in plan assets or 200 or more plans.
