Family First breaks ground on branch in East Rochester

Family First of New York Federal Credit Union will break ground Friday on a new branch in East Rochester, officials said Monday.

The 3,200-square-foot facility at 375 Route 31F is scheduled to open in September. It will replace an existing branch in Perinton.

The credit union is contracting with Rochester firms Wilmorite Inc. and Bergmann Associates for the construction.

Headquartered on Browncroft Boulevard in Penfield, Family First also has branches in Webster and Henrietta.

Family First ranks eighth on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of local credit unions with total assets of $130.6 million.
