The Green Lantern Inn restaurant in Fairport has a new owner.

John Tachin, owner of Mr. Dominic’s at the Lake in Charlotte, purchased the property for $782,000 from the previous building owner, Matt Laurence. Tachin said he will be doing renovations to the property and plans to continue to operate it as a restaurant under a new name once the work is completed.

The Green Lantern is a casual restaurant bar with banquet and catering facility. The sale included stage, bars, equipment, inventory, furniture and goodwill. The property also includes an owner’s residence totaling 20,105-square-feet.

The property sale was brokered by Gary Thomas of Hunt Commercial Real Estate.
