Finalists chosen for 2014 Wealth of Health awards

Sixteen local employers have been selected in the 2014 Wealth of Health Awards program in recognition of their efforts to encourage and support wellness among employees.

The Wealth of Health Awards program honors companies whose programs and policies foster a healthy workplace. Now in its eighth year, the program is co-sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and the Rochester Business Journal.

Companies were judged on the creativity of their initiatives, active participation, ability to effect measurable improvements, sustainability and program outcomes.

The award luncheon is scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m. June 12 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester.

Twelve of the employers named finalists are grouped into four categories by size. Four past honorees are recognized in a new “laureates” category for their continuing efforts.

The finalists are:

1-299 employees
 Monroe Plan for Medical Care
 BonaDent Dental Laboratories
 Allen-Bailey Tag & Label Inc.

300-699 employees
 Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co.
 CDS Monarch Inc.
 American Packaging Corp.

700-3,999 employees
 Heritage Christian Services Inc.
 Livingston County
 Gunlocke Co. LLC

4,000+ employees
 Finger Lakes Area School Health Plan
 Constellation Brands Inc.
 Tops Markets LLC

The laureates are:

 SMP Corp.
 ESL Federal Credit Union
 Thompson Health
 CooperVision Inc.
