Economic development council to hold workshops

The Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council has scheduled two funding workshops for potential applicants, including one on May 21 at Monroe Community College.

The workshop at MCC begins at 1 p.m. and is scheduled to last three hours, officials announced Tuesday. The first workshop is Friday beginning at 2 p.m. at Genesee Community College in Batavia.

The workshops will focus on the consolidated funding application process required for the fourth round of state funding. Up to $750 million in resources is available.

The deadline for submissions is June 16.
