A Rochester steel supplier is receiving industry kudos.

Klein Steel Service Inc. has been named a finalist for Steel Service Center of the Year in the American Metal Market in the small/midsize company category.

Winners are to be announced at the annual Steel Awards Dinner on June 17 in New York City held in conjunction with the global Steel Success Strategies XXIX conference presented by American Metal Market and World Steel Dynamics.

“To be selected as a finalist for the Steel Service Center of the Year is a true honor,” said Todd Zyra, Klein Steel president, in a statement. “It confirms that we have made the right investments in talent and operational improvements over the past few years, and is a testimony to the hard work of our Klein Steel team members and their commitment to excellence in support of our customers, suppliers and business partners.”

Founded in 1971, Klein Steel is a steel service center with locations throughout New York.
