Mayor to present budget to City Council

Mayor Lovely Warren will present her administration’s first budget to Rochester City Council on Friday at City Hall.

The proposed 2014-15 budget will be unveiled by Warren and budget director Christopher Wagner at 11 a.m. in City Council chambers.

The presentation will be televised on the city’s government cable access station, City12, and streamed at www.cityofrochester.gov.

During a presentation to state legislators in Albany in late January, Warren said the city was facing a $28 million budget shortfall even after cutting programs totaling $9.5 million.
