Van Dusen ranks No. 7 on Barron's list

Pittsford’s Lori Van Dusen is ranked seventh on Barron’s 2014 list of the top 100 women financial advisers, which was released Saturday.

Van Dusen, owner and principal of LVW Advisors LLC, manages assets of $3.5 billion, with typical accounts of $20 million from clients and institutions with a typical net worth of $50 million, data included in the list shows.

Van Dusen was not listed in 2013 because until this year only independent firms with broker/dealers were eligible.

The rankings are based on assets overseen, revenues generated and the quality of the advisers’ practices.
