Paychex Inc. has been recognized by Computerworld as one of the 2014 Best Places to Work in IT, the company’s 10th consecutive year on the list.

Paychex ranked No. 47 in the large-company category, up from No. 77 last year.

“This is an exciting time for IT at Paychex,” said Michael Gioja, senior vice president of IT, product management and development. “Our employees are working on mission-critical projects that help drive the company’s growth, enhance the productivity of our own workforce and help our small business clients have easier access to Paychex’s payroll, HR, benefits and insurance products to do what they want, where they want and how they want.”

In addition to its ranking in the large-company category, Paychex also ranked No. 4 overall for number of training days offered and No. 25 by percentage of IT employees promoted.
