Job fair slated for College Town

The College Town project development team has scheduled a job fair July 8 for employment at businesses expected to locate at the University of Rochester site, officials announced Monday.

The job fair is scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Staybridge Suites Rochester University Hotel at 1000 Genesee St.

Some 490 employees will be needed for a mix of retail, restaurant, lodging and service positions at Elmwood and Mt. Hope avenues, officials said.

Representatives of Barnes & Noble Inc., Saxbys Coffee LLC, Insomnia Cookies LLC, Hairzoo Inc., Jimmy Johns, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co., Constantino’s Market and the Hilton Garden Inn are among those scheduled to attend the job fair, officials said.
