Dunkin’ Brand Group Inc. and Saladworks LLC are opening new locations in the region.

Dunkin’ Donuts has opened a new restaurant at 834 Long Pond Road, one of 113 locations in the area. The location will add roughly 15 jobs.

The restaurant is operated by franchisee Jett Mehta of Pittsford-based Indus Cos., which currently operates 21 of the 113 restaurants in Western New York. The new coffee and baked goods restaurant is open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. A grand opening ceremony will be held Aug. 27.

Free Wi-Fi and flat-screen television access will be some of the amenities of the new site, restaurant officials said.

"Dunkin' Donuts is one of the world’s leading brands, and it has also become a favorite in Monroe County,” Mehta said in a statement. “We are proud to serve the people of Rochester and hope to become a popular destination for guests.”

There are more than 10,500 Dunkin’ Donuts locations worldwide with over 7,000 serving 36 states in the U.S. including the District of Columbia.

Saladworks, based in Conshohocken, Pa., is opening its first location at 1100 Jefferson Road in Henrietta.

“When I looked into franchising, I was looking for a business that satisfied my personal desire for healthy eating,” Tarpan Patel, owner of Rochester Saladworks, said in a statement. “I knew Saladworks would be the perfect match not only for my own lunchtime needs but for those of the Rochester area.”

The fresh-salad franchise operates in 107 locations in 13 states and has a presence internationally in three countries. Customers choose from 12 options of salads to customize a meal.
