Chili dessert shop relocates to Park Avenue

Rochester Business Journal
July 31, 2014

Sweet Sammie Jane’s —a dessert boutique based in Chili—has relocated to 701 Park Ave.

Shop co-owners Angela and Kathie Marmo said they chose the neighborhood because of the area’s unique atmosphere and centralized location.

"More and more businesses are moving into the city as testament to the vibrancy of Rochester," said Delmonize Smith, Rochester’s commissioner of Neighborhood and Business Development, in a statement. "With the lively, artistic atmosphere of Park Avenue, Sweet Sammie Jane's unique pastry offerings will be in good company."

The business is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekend.
