Opening set for first downtown Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin' Donuts celebrated the opening of its first downtown Rochester restaurant at 89 State St. Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and city officials joined Dunkin' Donuts representatives at the location for a ceremonial brew. Marking the fourth of 20 locations Dunkin’ Brand Group Inc. plans to open locally over the next few years, a store is slated to open officially Tuesday at 89 State St.
 
Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and city officials along with Dunkin’ Donuts representatives are to mark the opening of the first Dunkin’ Donuts in downtown Rochester at 11 a.m.

The development is part of an August 2013 plan of growth for the company for the Greater Rochester area and its opening makes it the 114th Dunkin’ Donuts to operate in Western New York, officials said. The coffee and baked goods company has more than 10,500 restaurants across 31 countries.
